It’s time to say goodbye to Malaysia and ministry on the field, at least for now. It’s a bittersweet time of saying goodbye while also looking forward to so much to come! But God is still working!! And He will continue to work just as much when we’re gone! God is so good and is doing so many things that I too frequently miss.

Wednesday we were at church for a worship night. A guest pastor from Australia was preaching and sharing testimonies of radical healings. And to our happy surprise, the woman who we visited on our third visit was at church for the very first time!! She was Hindu and had cancer, so we had been able to share our faith and love her and pray over her and her family, now she was at church and the stories the pastor was sharing seemed to be directly to her! It’s amazing how the God of all creation cares about the smallest detail, because, if there’s one things I’ve learned on the race, when it comes to those He loves, He would do absolutely anything for them! That night, she accepted Jesus and received the gift of salvation!!! God is so kind. To allow me to see that was such a gift that I didn’t do anything to deserve, that I couldn’t ever do anything to deserve. The fact that God uses me in His great plan to save the world is beyond my understanding and it brings me the greatest joy! Psalms 8:4 says “what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them”. What am I that the King of all Kings would care for me that much? What did I ever do to deserve such a love? Absolutely nothing, but God’s love and His grace doesn’t have anything to do with me but everything to do with how great God is. Thank you God!

Friday was our final day of overseas ministry and it was so hard to say goodbye. I have absolutely loved teaching these kids every day for the last 2 months and it breaks my heart to leave but I am so grateful for the time I got to spend with them. That night we had our final church service overseas as well, and our amazing leader Emily got our team flowers for our final day. Our very first ministry day in Guatemala our ministry host gave us flowers and now, 203 day later we finished our time of overseas mission work. That doesn’t mean the ministry stops, just means my role in it looks different. God is always moving, and always using me to further His Kingdom (Thank you God for that blessing!!). I will miss Malaysia so much, I’ve grown to love the culture so much, love the people and even love our classroom (‘the box’) we call home!

Monday night we begin our travels back to America, taking an overnight bus to Singapore, spending the day in the airport + reuniting with the Indonesia teams!!! Then we have a 15 hour flight to San Francisco (but with time change we actually leave at 8:40pm and get there at 8:45pm on the exact same day) then a quick flight back to Georgia before finally returning to the AIM base. Then we will spend 2 days fighting to get over jet leg before heading back to Black Mountain for domestic ministry. I am so excited to go back to Black Mountain to serve people still struggling to recover from the hurricane. It will also be a sweet time for our squad to acknowledge once again together how God saved us durning the landslide that happened 8 months ago. To think of everything God has done since then just shows how great His plan is and how worthy He is for us to trust Him. He is a good Father and a good God!

Thank you for all the prayers and support especially as we come to the end of this journey!
